BK Appraisal began its valuation services in the year 1999, after the founder, Kenneth W. Kophamer, identified a need for more quality appraisers in the Whiteside County area. With our experience, knowledge, and organization, our appraisal firm quickly became one of the largest appraisal companies in the area.
Mr. Kophamer has an extensive agriculture background including but not limited to such experiences as personally building cattle and hog confinement systems, managing farm operations and serving as a member of several agricultural boards In 1999, Michael D. Blean became a partner in ownership and management of the business.
