The company was organized in 1991 after Kenneth W. Kophamer, the founder, completed several farm appraisals and it eventually expanded into residential and commercial appraisals. Mr. Kophamer has an extensive agricultural background including but not limited to such experiences as personally building cattle and hog confinement systems, managing farm operations, and serving as a member of several agricultural boards.

In 1999, Michael D. Blean became a partner in ownership and management of the business. Notable appraisals completed by this firm are listed below.
